The Power Of Sand (Land)

The sand we march on everyday has so much power in it. But we never know of it. Yet sometimes we make reference to its efficacy and importance unconsciously without even knowing it. You must have heard people swear by touching the sand, touch the tip of their tongue and then raise the finger up to the sky to convince that they are telling the truth. Or you see someone having some misunderstanding with another person telling him "Ala kugbuo gi" meaning "may the land kill you".

Other times you see people trying to swear to an oath remove whatever they are wearing in their legs and march on the ground while swearing. That is to show you how spiritually important and powerful the land or sand from it is.

The land is termed a mother. That is why you hear mother earth or motherland. That's because that's where our physical bodies will return to after death. So like a mother the land is, she has the power to work wonders for you when you pray with it wholeheartedly and with pure heart.

Sometimes the sand from the land of your native family home or maternal home is more powerful than you can ever imagine. It is because it has direct connection to your ancestors who are always there in spirit overseeing your affairs in life when you are in good terms with them. When we pour libation to them during prayers, it is on the land we do it. We pray with kolanut and still throw a part of it on the ground signifying giving the ancestors their own share of the kolanut broken.

All these are the significance of the land and many more. Other importance are the things we can do with the sand from it or how they are used. Some of those uses are what you will find below:

Uses of Sand

• When you are faced with some challenges in life, you can use Sand to pray yourself out of it.
• When you fall sick, pray with Sand and ask God for healing. If your mind and life is pure, He will heal you.
• When you are faced with a life threatening situation, use Sand to pray yourself out of it. 
• Ask God to bear you witness between you and your enemy and the situation will be arrested. So long as the person walks on the surface of the earth, the case is settled.
• You can use Sand to break curses such as generational curses or spells, that is if someone has placed a curse on you angrily.
• Sometimes, go outside and take some amount of Sand from the ground. Pray over it and then put it in your bathing water and take your bath at night. After that don't go out again. Do this for 7 nights and come back with a testimony. If you deem it fit, then we cant wait to hear it from you.

Note: This is something you can feel relaxed to do because it is never in any way diabolical. Do not allow those who lack understanding to deceive you.
