• If the seed falls on the ground, do not pick it.
• When you use it for cleansing and are done, do not throw it where women pass.
• Two friends or couple should not match on its seed  because it will cause misunderstanding and possibly lead to separation.
• When using for spiritual work, use the small ones. Big ones are not for spirituality.

• To activate it and make it spiritually active, before opening it, take it in your hand and put it behind your back and then open it there before bringing it back to your front.
• It becomes more effective and powerful if buried on the ground for three or seven days. This can also activate the alligator pepper.
• While using it to do cleansing, do not change your hands. That is, do not switch it from left to right hand or right to left hand. Finish with the hand you started with.
